Simple, authentic and right in front of the volcano

Tanna Lava View has two bungalows built the island way, from bamboo, woven panels and thatch, raised off the ground among coconut palms and garden.

Inside you'll find comfortable beds with mosquito nets and bright island linen, and a welcome made by the family when you arrive. Step out onto the veranda and Mt Yasur is right in front of you. At night you can often see its glow from the property.

How many people can stay in a bungalow?

Each bungalow sleeps up to 3 guests. We have two bungalows, so a group of up to 6 can stay at once.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Most guests arrive on the domestic flight into Tanna, so we plan check-in around your flight. Add your flight details when you book, and we'll confirm the check-in and check-out times with your booking.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, every night includes breakfast. Lunch and dinner come with the stay packages.

Can I see the volcano from the bungalow?

Yes. The bungalows face Mt Yasur, and on many nights its red glow is visible from the property. To look into the crater, join the volcano tour.
